ABOUT VERMONT REINDEER FARM
We have the ONLY Real Live Reindeer in Vermont!
When you arrive at our Reindeer Farm you will be greeted by one of our family members. Our farm is a small "hobby" farm. The Broe family have been dairy farmers for many generations. We actually built our farm on Broe land that has been in the family for 5 generations! Our oldest son John Jr. and his wife Deanna are the only remaining dairy farmers in our family. John Sr goes to work with John Jr everyday at John's barn. It is actually one of a handful of small farms left in Vermont.
We like to gather everyone in each tour in our Reindeer Lodge to attend our " Reindeer School" This about 30 minutes. you will learn about our majestic, amazing reindeer. This is a hands on educational class! We have many things to touch and feel.... antlers sheds, reindeer fur, a real reindeer hide, velvet saved from shedding. We then go in the reindeer enclosure for up close and personal with our reindeer! We also have many other farm animals to visit after! Mini goats, mini donkeys, ponies, chickens, ducks!
