MISS MAPLE ANNIE

Miss Maple Annie is a baby Sika deer who was orphaned back in Oct 2018. She was a late born fawn so there were no other Momma's to feed her. We were asked by our State officials to take her. We had no idea what we were getting into! She was tiny about the size of a cat with long legs. She actually lives in our house and is best friends with our 2  Golden retrievers... Bailey & Norman. We started feeding her 3 bottles of warm goats milk  3 times day. She is now 3 months old and get 2 bottles day. She eats a salad mix of greens, apples and strawberries! She gets grain and hay! She actually has potty trained herself to go in her kennel in our house! We will be introducing her to our Fallow deer in the spring where hopefully she will live!
